INTRODUCTION TO AYIA NAPA

No resort can compare to the madness of Ayia Napa, it is one of the biggest resorts we have available and has an abundance of activities and things to do, you will never be bored! As one of our biggest resorts, it certainly has a lot going on, which is why our workers return year on year for a healthy does of Cypriot sunshine. The nightlife is infamous, if youve not been before, youre in for a real treat.


From the wild foam parties, chilled drinks, fun filled days at the local water park, and multiple beaches to explore at your leisure theres something for everyone. You can always rely on the Cypriot suns and temperatures soaring close to the 40s during peak season.

A SEASON IN AYIA NAPA

Our dates run from May to July, but you can stay on for the closing parties - well help you secure further accommodation when youre out there. If its your first time working abroad, we recommend going out earlier as its easier to get your bearings when its a little quieter than to jump straight into the deep-end mid-season!


SHIFT PATTERNS IN AYIA NAPA

Hours and shifts for working in Ayia Napa will vary depending on your job of choice. Ticket sellers can expect to be out enhancing their tans on the job, whilst bar workers will obviously be starting a little later. The average shift is between 4 - 6 hours. Summertime Workers guests and reps tend to post in the private groups about days out they can arrange for anyone who has time off, these days out normally consist of visiting beaches, waterparks or sight-seeing around this amazing resort.




HOW MUCH DO YOU GET PAID IN AYIA NAPA

You can make anywhere from €50 to €70 for a short shift, the wages in Ayia Napa are amazing for doing something so fun! Bear in mind however, this doesnt even include tips or commission, so turn up the charm and youll have more money than youll know what to do with!



WORKING IN AYIA NAPA

The majority of Summer Jobs in Ayia Napa come from the super famous and exciting nightlife scene, the most popular jobs are bar work, PRing, ticket selling, dancers and restaurant work. However if you feel like you want to work something or somewhere in particular, talk to our reps and we will advice and help you get in that job. Summertime Workers have great relationships with the bars, clubs and events in the resort, our reps will be setting up job recruitment days for all of our guests when arriving in the resort so you get your dream job Working In Ayia Napa.


The average wage in Ayia Napa is from €50 - €70 per shift, this does not include tips or commission, there endless opportunities to earn more money when working in Ayia Napa so work hard and you will be rewarded - most jobs include free drinks and free club entry as standard! The average shift is between 4 - 6 hours. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy the infamous nightlife Ayia Napa has to offer, explore the beautiful island and have fun with your new Summertime Workers friends.


EXTRA WORK IN AYIA NAPA

After the initial 28 days accomodation we provide, if you want to stay longer in the resort, let the reps know and we can help extend your stay for you. Its always best to let the reps know as soon as you decide you want to stay longer so it gives us a bit more time to provide this service to you. Hundred of guests stay longer than the initial 28 days so theres no need to worry, we are experts at helping extend accommodation.


UPON ARRIVAL IN AYIA NAPA

Once you arrive in Ayia Napa, our reps will meet and greet you, they will help get you checked in and into your apartment with the roommates you have previously chosen through the workers forums and Facebook groups. After this you will go through an induction, in which you will be briefed on the resort, what it has to offer and what Jobs in Ayia Napa are available. After the meeting this is when the real fun happens: the first week involved getting guests started on their dream Jobs in Ayia Napa and introducing guests to the infamous nightlife in Ayia Napa. Our reps will also show you around the resort and take you to the local beaches and hot spots so you feel comfortable in your new home.


HOW TO FIND WORK IN AYIA NAPA

Here at Summertime workers we have great relationships with the bars, clubs and events in the resort, our reps will be setting up job recruitment days for all of our guests when you arrive in the resort. You dont have to bring hundreds of CVs but we would advide bringing a cover letter with any previous experience you have (if you dont have any, thats not a problem), we will train you up so you feel comfortable in the job you want to do.


We take control of the job front for you, if you feel you would like to do a specific role or change roles let our reps know in the resort and they will be able to provide you with all the information needed about the bars, clubs and events that are recruiting and take you down to introduce you to the managers so you can have a chat about the roles available and get you started!

Bar work is one of the most popular in each resort, you will work for some of the best bars, events and clubs in the resort. Experience is preferred but not essential.

If you like meeting new people, free drinks and are quick on your feet you will love bar work.

Ticket Selling

  • €40-€300+ DURING PEAK SEASONS, TICKET SELLING PAY VARIES BETWEEN RESORTS/DAYS
  • YOU ARE MOSTLY YOUR OWN BOSS, CHOOSE YOUR HRS. MORE HOURS = MORE MONEY!

Selling tickets to tourists for the biggest events in the resort such as huge club nights, bar crawls and booze cruises!

Club / PR Work

  • £60 - £120 PER DAY/NIGHT PLUS COMMISSION
  • SHIFTS VARY FROM 4 - 8 HRS PER DAY/NIGHT

You will be working in lively bars, clubs and events chatting to tourists and selling a variety of shots. This is a very social job and confidence is key!

You get to meet a lot of new people, free drinks and basically get paid to party!

Restaurant Work

  • ROLE DEPENDANT £40 - £80 PLUS COMMISSION
  • 5 - 8 HRS PER SHIFT ON AVERAGE

You will attracting people into the restaurant, waitering/waitressing, kitchen staff or even the chef.

These roles are extremely popular as the majority of the time you have the nights off to enjoy yourself

Shot Selling

  • £50 - £100 PER DAY/NIGHT PLUS COMMISSION
  • SHIFTS VARY FROM 4 - 8 HRS PER DAY/NIGHT

You will be working in lively bars, clubs and events chatting to tourists and seeling a variety of shots. This is a very social job and confidence is key!

You get to meet a lot of new people, free drinks and basically get paid to party

Dancers

  • €50 - €100 EUROS PER NIGHT
  • SHIFTS VARY, ON AVERAGE THEY ARE 4 - 6 HRS PER SHIFT

Your job will involve dancing on stages, podiums and bars, there are a huge amount of opportunities for this role although some experience is needed.

If you think this role is for you, youll enjoy the lively party atmosphere at work, free drinks and the free clothing.

DJ Work

  • THIS DEPENDS ON YOUR EXPERIENCE, PAY FOR DJ’S IN EVERY RESORT IS HIGH!
  • SHIFTS DO VARY, USUALLY BETWEEN 4 - 7 HRS

DJ work is in huge demand across all of the resorts, every bar, club and event needs an experienced DJ. It is definitely one of the best jobs to do when you are working abroad.

Youll enjoy the sociable side, free drinks, high rate of pay and getting paid to party!

Glass Collecting

  • £40 - £70 PER SHIFT
  • 4 - 8 HRS SHIFTS

Your role will be to collect the empty glasses in the bars and clubs and bring them back to the bar, you need to be fast on your feet to ensure its a quick turnaround at the bar.

Youll enjoy the lively atmosphere and meeting new people every night!

Holiday Rep

  • PAY VARIES UPON EXPERIENCE BUT STARTS FROM 300 EUROS PER WEEK
  • HOURS VARY DEPENDING ON ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES, MAY BE NEEDED TO WORK DAILY

Being a holiday rep means you will be outgoing, energetic and responsible for making sure our guests have an unforgettable working holiday! Youll need to be the life and soul of the party as well as the ability to work well under pressure and keep a cool head for any problems that may arise – not forgetting you go above and beyond where necessary to ensure a once in a lifetime experience with Summertime Workers. If youre flamboyant, outgoing, social and a go-getter then this is the job for you.

Face / Body Painting

  • £60 - £80 PER SHIFT PLUS COMMISSION
  • SHIFTS VARY BETWEEN 2 - 6 HRS

Face and body painting are very in demand in all of our resorts. more and more events are encouraging people to get dressed up making it increasingly more popular, youll never be out of work.
